Conservative talk radio and Fox News host Glenn Beck called for an invasion of the United Kingdom on Friday to head off what he called an attempt by the British to re-establish America as a colony, as well as the rest of the British Empire.
Beck said he recently saw a documentary on “the British invasion” of rock bands during the 1960s and realized it was the cause of recent unrest in Egypt and the Islamic world overall, given that Britain once had colonies in the Middle East.
“Make no mistake this is all part of a trend,” Beck said as he put album covers from The Beatles, the Rolling Stones and The Dave Clark Five on his chalkboard. He also put up pictures of Saddam Hussein, Adolph Hitler and, for some unclear reason, Lenny Kosnowksi from the 1970s-era sitcom Laverne & Shirley. He then drew circles, lines and smiley faces to link these disparate elements together, along with the date “1776” and “War of 1812.”
Beck also drew a map of the former British Empire and said it was linked to a longstanding British plan that “some people” had been warning of for years.
“The Brits are in cahoots with the Chinese. They’re aligned with the Islamo fascists who also want to take over the world. Together it’ll spread into India, which Britain also used to own. The Brits, the Chinese, the Arabs and the Indians, everyone in this caliphate cabal is a tea drinker—that’s the link that ties the conspiracy together, they use tea as a form of mind control.” Beck said. “The fall of Egypt is not about freedom, it’s not about democracy, it is about an Islamic state, too much tea and rock and roll.”
Beck broke into a sweat as he circled names, pictures and drew lines on his chalkboards. He said the British-Islamic-Chinese alliance would be funded by a massive war chest that the British stored in Hong Kong after the opium wars of the 1800s, and use these resources to spread westward.
“Soon they’ll take over Egypt, then northern Africa. Then it’s just a short distance, on this map it’s just the width of my pinkie, for them to leap into Spain,” Beck said. “After they take over Germany, then all hope will be lost. All the Islamic world and Western Europe will be joined in a British-Islamic-Chinese-Indian-Bavarian alliance. It will be an Islamic caliphate to rule the world and America will be doomed.”
Beck also asserted that Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush were aware of this plan which, he claimed, was why British Prime Minister Tony Blair was willing to support the invasion of Iraq while using the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland to function as a spy training and indoctrination center.
He said other British exports such as comedies, Masterpiece Theater and Doctor Who were also part of this enormous plan to lull Americans into a sense of complacency and impose Sharia law in the U.S.
“There are many people who say they enjoy the Brits with their funny accents and mannerisms. Oh sure, they seem so sophisticated,” Beck said. “Monty Python seems so funny, but how funny will it be when you’re just sitting there laughing and some tea drinker sneaks up behind you and cuts off your head?”
